Most recently I was a Design Director at Square, leading design for both the Developers team as well as the International team, and over the years I’ve assisted design on several other teams from Dashboard, Customers, Authentication and Identities, Risk, and Point of Sale. Prior to Square I was a product designer and front-end developer at Storehouse.
But I do a lot of other stuff too. I make apps, I design typefaces, I shoot film, and I pull prints.
My passions for creating generally lie in the intersection of design, product, and code. With that said, as much as I enjoy working on screen, I also like getting my hands dirty in the shop or foundry.
I studied design at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, and several years later received an MFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD.
I currently reside and work in sunny Oakland, CA. 🌞
